Lots of companies are sharing new information as TGS 2021 hits its stride. Koei Tecmo is no exception. Its offering is a new trailer for the returning Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. This time, the video is set up as a sort of “tell all” video called “True Account: The Truth about Mt. Hikami.”
Mt. Hikami is the setting for the game. Heroines will explore unsettling areas, like abandoned buildings and foreboding forested areas. As expected from a Fatal Frame game, these will be filled with ghosts. In particular, this Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water trailer references Miu Hinasaki and her search for her mother on the mountain.

As a reminder, some of the new features in Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water this time around are new costumes. In addition to ones in-game, some will only be available in the Deluxe Edition. People who pre-order it will get an Atelier Ryza costume the heroines can wear.
Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 28, 2021. It is immediately available on the Nintendo Wii U.
