Gal Gun: Double Peace Switch Release Date Announced (Update)

Gal Gun: Double Peace will launch for the Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2022 in Japan. It will appear worldwide the same day. The standard edition will cost ÂĄ5280 (about $46) and the limited edition will cost ÂĄ8580 (about $75). A digital version will also be available for ÂĄ5280. The Switch release will include DLC outfits from past releases, in addition to an updated opening featuring a new song from Shinobu and the Kamizono sisters. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Along with the release date announcement, Inti Creates opened an official website for the Switch version of Double Peace. The company also revealed a new trailer showcasing gameplay footage of the upcoming release. Be aware that the trailer is NSFW.

Additionally, the website outlines various bonus items and merchandise included in the limited edition release. The limited-edition will come packaged with box art featuring the heroines from the past three Gal Gun games. It will also include an acrylic board stand with illustrations of Double Peace‘s heroines.

Furthermore, Pre-orders will include an A4-sized poster of the official 6th-anniversary illustration released in August 2021. Purchasing from Japanese retailers will also net consumers with various illustrated posters, pass cases, and smartphone stands.

Gal Gun: Double Peace is the sequel to Gal Gun. Inti Creates released the game in Japan in 2015 for the PS4 and PS Vita and later ported the game to Windows PC in 2016. In 2020, PQube and Inti Creates released the Ultimate Editions of Gal Gun: Double Peace and Gal Gun 2 for the PS4, PS Vita, and PC.
