Pokemon Legends Arceus Introduces Diamond and Pearl Characters

People who played Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl will see some familiar things in Pokemon Legends Arceus, as some characters belong to clans named after them. There will also be some save data unlocks. Both the Diamond and Pearl Clans are present in Hisui. Should you have save data, you’ll get Team Galactic uniforms for your Galaxy Expedition Team avatar to wear.

First, here are the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl unlocks. Darkrai will be the legendary you can see and catch if you have game data. The uniforms have logos and looks inspired by the antagonists in those entries.

Next, here’s the Pokemon Legends Arceus trailer introducing the Diamond and Pearl Clan characters. Adaman is the head of Team Diamond. Also on his side is Arezu, who is interested in the Galaxy Expedition Team. Irida is in charge of Team Pearl. Lian is also part of that group and looks after Kleavor, the Pokemon considered “Lord of the Woods.”

This means that the major Pokemon Switch releases’ save data all feature unlocks for Pokemon Legends Arceus. Pokemon Sword and Shield saves on the system mean you see Shaymin. It’ll provide a chance to get Shaymin kimonos and catch its land forme. Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! will give you Pikachu and Eevee masks. These are cosmetic items that will appear on top of your trainer’s head.

Pokemon Legends Arceus will launch on the Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022.
