Mana 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert

A Mana 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert Is Scheduled for April 2022

Square Enix and Aetas will hold the Mana 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert on April 3, 2022. The concert will take place physically at Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra will perform tracks from the Mana series during the concert.

Composers who created the series’ soundtracks — Kenji Ito, Hiroki Kikuta, and Yoko Shimomura — will appear as guests. Square Enix will also invite the Mana series creator Koji Ishii to attend the concert, along with Hiromichi Tanaka and the current series producer Masaru Oyamada.

The companies have published a partial setlist for the upcoming concert, which revealed that the day and night performances will have several different tracks. The day show will focus on Trials of Mana, while the night concert will instead emphasize Legend of Mana.

  • “Angel’s Fear” from Secret of Mana
  • “Meridian Child” from Trials of Mana
  • Legend of Mana ~Title Theme~”

Day Performance (14:00 JST) Only

  • “Where Angels Fear to Tread” from Trials of Mana
  • “Swivel” from Trials of Mana

Night Performance (18:30 JST) Only

  • “Nostalgic Song” from Legend of Mana
  • “City of Flickering Destruction” from Legend of Mana

Square Enix celebrated the Mana series’ 30th anniversary in 2021. In the same year, it released remastered ports of the 1999 PlayStation title Legend of Mana for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices worldwide. It also announced an anime adaptation of Legend of Mana, titled The Teardrop Crystal.
