Babylon’s Fall Demo Will Allow Players to Carry Over Data Into Full Game

A Babylon’s Fall demo will release on February 25, 2022, and it will allow players to carry over their data into the full version of the game. During the demo, players will be able to play the introduction of the game. However, the Babylon’s Fall demo will only be available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game. Square Enix also confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be playable on the PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The developers also revealed that the number of participants present during a quest will determine its difficulty. This means players can potentially play the entire game by themselves. Additionally, players will be able to skip cutscenes in multiplayer. However, the cutscene will only skip if every person within the party agrees to skip it. The developers also stated that players will not be able to change the name of their account at any point.

Additionally, while paid currency will be available, the developers have no intention to sell more powerful equipment through paid currency. The paid currency will strictly be used to obtain cosmetic items, emotes, and to purchase the premium version of the battle pass.

Babylon’s Fall will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on March 3, 2022. Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition will receive early access to the game on February 28, 2022. The Babylon’s Fall demo will be available on February 25, 2022 and include a carry over feature.
