The KOF XV Team Garou DLC will bring Rock Howard, B. Jenet, and Gato to the game in March 2022. But before that happens, SNK released a short story for the new team. It explains why the three are working together and participating in the tournament. People can find it with the other backstories on the official site.
The story begins by establishing that yes, Rock is still living with Terry Bogard. He’s summoned by B. Jenet to join her team. When he gets there, he finds she’s also summoned Gato to participate. He’s in it for information on his father. The backstory also revealed that B. Jenet considered Tiz Tiz, but he’s “transferred” away. The tale ends with the trio preparing for their turn in the tournament.
There’s no exact release date for the KOF XV Team Garou DLC yet, but we do know how Rock Howard, B. Jenet, and Gato will look. SNK shared screenshots of the characters back when they were announced.
The King of Fighters XV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Team Garou DLC will arrive sometime in March 2022. It will eventually be followed by the Team South Town DLC in May 2022.
