New Monster Hunter Rise Small Monsters Include the Boggi and Gowngoat

Capcom’s regularly been sharing new details about the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion. The latest insight involves some of the creatures you’ll see. But these aren’t big, intimidating ones. Rather, the new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak video focuses on two new small monsters called the Boggi and Gowngoat.

First, the Boggi seems like a Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak wyvern along the lines of a Baggi or Jaggi. It is described as “mischievous.” In the in-game footage, we see a few show up in a pack and willingly attack a hunter.

As for the Gowngoat, it looks like a herbivore like Monster Hunter‘s Moofah or Popo. Its portions of the video show the slow moving creature eating and sleeping. When it does sleep, it curls up with its tail around its body.

Here’s the full Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak teaser.

Past videos focused on a number of other topics. For example, Capcom showed off different kinds of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak armor sets. It also showed off players’ rooms.

Monster Hunter Rise is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC, and the Sunbreak expansion will arrive on June 30, 2022.
