Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is a mobile experience that will condense not only the original Final Fantasy VII‘s story, but that of spin-off titles as well. Square Enix outlined plans for the game, revealing that there will be no character gacha system. Instead, players will roll for weapons, similar to Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia. Additionally, story chapters will be free-to-play.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will release on Android and iOS devices, and a closed beta will appear in 2022.
