One of the final events of Genshin Impact Version 2.8, Evermotion Mechanical Painting, will start on August 12, 2022. It will run until August 22, 2022. As mentioned previously when HoYoVerse first previewed Phase II’s events, rewards will include Primogems, a Furnishing, Hero’s Wit, Weapon Ascension Materials, and Mora.

In order to participate in Evermotion Mechanical Painting, you need to be over AR 18 and complete Prologue: Act III. The event itself is a puzzle. You can get a new part every day for the first six days of the event. When you restore the Mechanical Painting Parts, you need to make sure the gears can interact with each other in a way that they can activate the painting. After you finish assembling the Parts, you can put them together to make the painting.

Version 2.8 is the final update to Genshin Impact before Sumeru launches in Version 3.0. HoYoVerse showed off an animated trailer, with cameos from Sumeru characters such as Tighnari, Collei, and Dehya. As they already have splash art, it is likely that the first Sumeru characters players will be able to obtain are Tighnari, Collei, and Dori.

Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Evermotion Mechanical Painting will run from August 12 to 22, 2022 in Genshin Impact.
