Megahouse will open up pre-orders for a Digimon Tamers Sakuyamon figure. Pre-orders will open from September 9 and will last until early December 2022. The figure has a release window of late August 2023, and it will cost 24,200 JPY. That converts to approximately $169.30. This Sakuyamon figure is part of Megahouse’s G.E.M. series. As a G.E.M. figure, you will not be able to change the pose. The figure stands at around 280 millimeters tall. Sakuyamon is holding her Kongou Shakujou staff, and she looks like she has just landed on the ground after a jump. Though the fire underneath her do not have a particularly fox-like shape, they are likely Sakuyamon’s kuda-gitsune.

Sakuyamon is not the first Digimon that Megahouse has released a figure for. There is also a G.E.M. figure of Impmon and Beelzemon, who are also from Tamers. Though not from Tamers, Taichi and Greymon from Adventure will be available for pre-order from November 2022. This is also a G.E.M. series figure.
Sakuyamon debuted in the anime as the Mega form of Renamon from Digimon Tamers. In the lore of Digimon Tamers, Mega Digimon are when a human and a Digimon biomerge. So in the show, Sakuyamon is actually a combination between Renamon and her partner, Rika. Sakuyamon has also appeared in games like Digimon World 3 and Digimon World: Dawn and Dusk.
