Touch the Beat! originally appeared as a VR-exclusive title for Oculus Quest in October 2020. The upcoming PlayStation releases will support both PlayStation VR 2 and its predecessor. The developer will also add a Non-VR mode so that players who do not have a VR device can enjoy the game as well.

In addition to the official site, Gemdrops also announced the new releases on its Twitter account:

Kizuna AI is the first figure to popularize the Virtual YouTuber concept following her debut in November 2016. She used to be the most subscribed VTuber on YouTube with over three million subscribers until Hololive’s Gawr Gura surpassed her in July 2021.

The VTuber went on an indefinite hiatus after holding the “hello, world 2022” live concert on February 26, 2022. The event also featured the debut of #kzn, a Vocaloid-like AI-based voice synthesis character.

#kzn will hold a small live performance on the final day of the Tokyo Game Show on September 18, 2022. Gemdrops will also publish more details about the PlayStation releases of Touch the Beat! at the event.

Kizuna AI – Touch the Beat! is currently available on Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2. The PlayStation 4 and 5 versions will arrive digitally in early 2023.
