Family friendly sports come to the Wii in March

This month Namco is reviving the Family sports brand with Family Ski and its nifty balance board control scheme. On March 6, gamers in Japan can pick up Family Jockey and fulfill fantasies of racing pink horses. Twenty one days later (aka March 27) Pro Baseball Family Stadium arrives, a motion controlled baseball game with easy to learn controls.

Last year at Namco Bandai’s HQ I was told Family Trainer, the first title announced with the Family brand, would be part of a series. The simple sports series is starting the year off with an explosion, but no Family Trainer. The two player, mat stomping fitness game still doesn’t have a release date.
