Check out the brief ad below.

Like others of its type around the world, the Shinjuku 3D billboard (known as Cross Shinjuku Vision) uses specially situated LED screens to project the illusion of three-dimensional space. Ads tailored for the screen make it look as if giant-size “holograms” are appearing atop or poking out of the the building the billboard is mounted on. In this case the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters Quaxly, Sprigatito, and Fuecoco all appear to promote their game.

The accompanying text for each Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter also shows its height, weight, type, and Japanese name. For example, the Sprigatito (aka Nyaoha) stands about 0.4 meters tall (about 1’4″) and weighs 4.1 kg (about 9 lbs). The Fuecoco (aka Hogator) is the same height, but weighs a chunky 9.8kg (about 22 lbs). Quaxly (aka Kuwass), splits the difference, standing at 0.5 meters (about 1’5″) and weighing 6.1 kg (about 13.5 lbs). Being starters, Pokemon SV players will have their pick of the trio when they first visit Paldea.

The Pokemon Company also ran a more typical ad at the Shinjuku Wall 456, a large tunnel-length LED billboard. Check it out below.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch November 18, 2022 on Nintendo Switch. Check out which Pokemon starters Siliconera’s staff members picked as their favorites.
