Things begin with a fight between Zack and Genesis. From there, we see a cinematic of Zack dealing with Shinra soldiers. That is followed by a confirmation that Takeharu Ishimoto returned to create new arrangements of existing songs from the soundtrack. Following that message is a series of comparisons. The trailer first shows PSP gameplay footage, then shows what the game looks like in the remake. The focus on gameplay continues by showing how the combat system changed. Things conclude with a teaser highlighting some of the new summon cinematics.

While we hadn’t seen the new summon cinematics before, we did see some of the new designs. Square Enix confirmed Roberto Ferrari worked on the game. It showed the new concept art the artist created for Bahamut Fury. When it did, it also offered a screenshot showing the summon in Crisis Core FFVII Reunion.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will release for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on December 13, 2022. The original Crisis Core FFVII appeared on the PSP worldwide.
