Xenoblade Chronicles 2 turned five in 2022, and main character designer Masatsugu Saito shared Pyra and Mythra art to celebrate. The new image features the two heroines standing in front of the game’s logo. This comes after Monolith Soft shared official wallpaper to mark the occasion.

Here is Saito’s official tweet with the new Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Pyra amd Mythra art.

This isn’t the first time Masatsugu Saito shared Xenoblade Chronicles 2 art of Pyra and Mythra in honor of the game’s anniversary. It happened for its third one as well. In that image, Pyra was on the left and Mythra on the right, with the two legendary Blades back-to-back.

People can also see more of Saito’s Xenoblade Chronicle 2 character designs in the newest entry. Back before Xenoblade Chronicles 3 debuted, Executive Director Tetsuya Takahashi confirmed the artist’s contributed to the new game. His drawings were used to bring characters to life. Other returning staff on the team included artist Koichi Mugitani and composers like Yasunori Mitsuda.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, as is the Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country stand-alone game. (If someone gets the expansion pass, the additional game is a part of it.)
