Digimon Con 2023 Will Take Place in February 2023

Digimon fans have something to look forward to coming up. Bandai Namco announced Digimon Con 2023, a special livestream event. The next one will take place early next year, opening on February 12, 2023. The whole event is free to access and will take place on Bandai Japan’s official YouTube channel.

As for what to expect at Digimon Con 2023, a variety of fan-oriented activities and presentations are planned. The tentative program for the event includes information about toys and merchandise, exhibition matches in the Digimon Card Game, panels by Digimon anime series staff, live performances, and contest results. New information about games in development will also be on offer.

Here’s a summary of the Digimon Con 2023 program. The events are subject to change, and a detailed schedule will be released on February 6, 2023.

  • An update about toys and merch, featuring new info about a collaboration with the Vital Bracelet, an app and fitness tracker. The existing Digimon version of the Vital Bracelet lets you train Digimon through exercise.
  • Digimon Card Game exhibition matches will take place between teams representing the U.S., Japan, and China. There’ll be a Japan v. U.S. match and a Japan v. China match.
  • New info about Digimon video games, including some as yet unannounced projects.
  • A panel featuring the casts of Digimon Ghost Game and Digimon Frontier.
  • A live performance by a “special guest”.
  • The results of the 2023 Digimon Illustration Competition.

Digimon Con 2023 will happen on February 12, 2023. The latest Digimon game, Digimon Survive, recently surpassed 500,000 copies sold.
