Raiden Shogun ascension materials genshin impact

Genshin Impact Raiden Shogun Ascension Materials Keep You on Seirai Island

As one may expect from the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun is an exceptionally powerful character who does not necessarily need to be at a high Ascension level to be useful. This is because she can facilitate Electro reactions through her Elemental Skill. This means that even unbuilt, she is a good character to have in your party. Of course, the stronger Raiden Shogun herself is, the more useful she is at clearing higher-level content.

The easiest way to get a character stronger, even without farming for Artifacts, is through leveling them and their Talents. Unfortunately, Raiden Shogun is irritating in the way a lot of Inazuma characters are in that she needs Handguards. Handguards are not that common a drop from the various Nobushi and Kairagi enemies. Plus, so many characters need them that you will likely be farming for them until the day Genshin Impact ends.

Here are the Ascension materials you need, by level, for Raiden Shogun:

Ascension 1:

  • 1 Vajrada Amethyst Sliver
  • 3 Amakumo Fruits
  • 3 Old Handguards
  • 20,000 Mora

Ascension 2:

  • 3 Vajrada Amethyst Fragments
  • 10 Amakumo Fruits
  • 15 Old Hanguards
  • 2 Storm Beads
  • 40,000 Mora

Ascension 3:

  • 6 Vajrada Amethyst Fragments
  • 20 Amakumo Fruits
  • 12 Kageuchi Handguards
  • 4 Storm Beads
  • 60,000 Mora

Ascension 4:

  • 3 Vajrada Amethyst Chunks
  • 30 Amakumo Fruits
  • 18 Kageuchi Handguards
  • 8 Storm Beads
  • 80,000 Mora

Ascension 5:

  • 6 Vajrada Amethyst Chunks
  • 45 Amakumo Fruits
  • 12 Famed Handguards
  • 12 Storm Beads
  • 100,000 Mora

Ascension 6:

  • 6 Vajrada Amethyst Gemstones
  • 60 Amakumo Fruits
  • 24 Famed Handguards
  • 20 Storm Beads
  • 120,000 Mora

In total, you will need 420,000 Mora, 46 Storm Beads, 168 Amakumo Fruits, 18 Old Handguards, 30 Kageuchi Handguards, and 36 Famed Handguards. You can get Storm Beads from the Thunder Manifestation at Amakumo Peak. This will also be where you find the Amakumo Fruits for Raiden Shogun. So prepare your eyes for lots of purple when you’re farming for Raiden Shogun.

Raiden Shogun takes Molten Moments for her Talent materials. You can obtain Molten Moments from the La Signora Weekly Boss. She also takes Light Books, which you can get from Violet Court on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Sadly, Raiden Shogun needs Handguards for her Talents, too. In order to fully level up a Talent, you need to prepare 1,652,500 Mora, 6 Molten Moments, 6 Old Handguards, 22 Kageuchi Handguards, 31 Famed Handguards, 3 Teachings of Light, 21 Guides to Light, and 38 Philosophies of Light. The Nobushi grind will never end.

Genshin Impact is available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices, and the Raiden Shogun re-run banner will be available until January 17, 2023. You can also pull for Ayato at this time.
