A new Blu-ray for Cowboy Bebop is going on sale for the series’ 25th Anniversary. The legendary 1998 anime series will get a touch-up for the physical Cowboy Bebop 25th Anniversary Blu-ray set. Pre-orders for the sets opened on Amazon and Right Stuf. [Thanks, Wario64!]
The new Cowboy Bebop Blu-ray sets include a 25th Anniversary Limited Edition and a Special Edition. Both editions have five discs and identical bonus content. However, the Limited Edition, which costs $84.98, includes 5 metal art cards that can be swapped to change the front cover of the included collector’s box. The Special Edition costs $64.98. Both sets ship on April 4, 2023.
As for the bonus content, the sets include the following, spread out across the five discs. Some of the listed bonus content was also included in the existing Cowboy Bebop Complete Series Blu-ray edition. The new items include Dinner Aboard the Bebop, a new 25-year retrospective feature, and an interview with Koichi Yamadera from the 20th anniversary.
