Cyberpunk Edgerunners Clothes Recall David and Lucy

A new line of Cyberpunk Edgerunners clothes was announced by clothing brand Vaultroom. It will be sold online and at retail in Japan. The line includes items designed to evoke David Martinez and Lucy Kushinada, the lead characters of Studio Trigger’s Cyberpunk Edgerunners. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Unlike the gadget-equipped “techwear” worn by many of the characters in Cyberpunk 2077 and in the series, the Vaultroom Cyberpunk Edgerunners clothes line consists of more prosaic 21st-century apparel. These include hoodies, T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, jackets, and hats. The items will be sold in Vaultroom stores located in Tokyo, Sendai, and Hiroshima, as well as via its online shop.

The designs heavily incorporate the Edgerunners logo David Martinez wears on his jacket. A stylized “E|R”, the glyph-like design appears as a common element on all the items. Similarly, the Edgerunners logo rendered in mixed fonts also figures into the look. A slot image showing David or Lucy’s eyes is stitched into the front, as well. A final design focuses on the Vaultroom mascot, dressing it in David’s distinctive yellow crystaljock bomber. Buyers will also receive stickers that show off the images incorporated into the clothing.

The Vaultroom x Cyberpunk Edgerunners clothes prices range from 8,800 Yen ($68 USD) for a t-shirt to 88,000 Yen (about $680 USD) for a leather bomber jacket.

The Vaultroom x Cyberpunk Edgerunners clothing line is on sale in Japan. The series is viewable through Netflix. Items based on the series are also obtainable via free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, which has an expansion coming in 2023.
