The Fire Emblem Engage manga will begin running in the pages of Saikyo Jump starting in March 2023. However, February 3, 2023 saw the debut of the Fire Emblem Engage manga prologue chapter, which set things up for the story to begin properly next month. The official Fire Emblem Twitter account previewed the Engage manga prologue in a post. You can check out the pages in the gallery below.
The first page shows Clanne, Framme, and Vander on their way to meet Alear, who is still sleeping. Clanne admonishes Framme to make sure to address Alear as “The Divine Dragon.” The next panels on the page describe Framme’s “Divine Dragon Diary,” and Vander’s somewhat complex instructions for their task. The second page in the
Fire Emblem Engage manga prologue shows the trio gazing upon Alear’s sleeping form. The manga uses the male design of Alear for the manga adaptation. The kids express surprise that Alear is in human form, Framme is struck by Alear’s “dignity and gentle face,” The preview ends when the pair see Alear’s fancy ring. The
Fire Emblem Engage manga is illustrated by Kazurou Kyou, who created
Dead-End-Host, Houkago Idol, and
Himedoll!. Subscribers to
Weekly Shonen Jump+ will get the first three chapters of the series for free as they appear each month, but after that, subsequent chapters will appear for free after a three-week delay. The
Fire Emblem Engage manga runs in the pages of
Saikyo Jump in Japan, and will begin proper on March 3, 2023. The game is available on the Nintendo Switch.
