How to Start the Like a Dragon: Ishin Spitfire Substories with Yae

Once you get into chapter 4 of Like a Dragon: Ishin, you can start off a trio of substories starring Yae Tatsu in the Rakugai area of Kyo. It’s a selection of three called “The Spitfire Town Protector,” “The Spitfire Debt Collector,” and “The Spitfire Lie Detector.” All three are fairly easy to complete, provided you kick off the “The Spitfire Town Protector,” and they’re a good way to earn 9 Ryo.

This first stage of the three substories in Like a Dragon: Ishin is the only one that doesn’t start at the Blacksmith in Rakugai. You’ll want to be near the chicken racing and bars in Umekojicho. There, you’ll happen upon some seedy debt collectors harrassing one of Yae’s clients. After taking part in a fight alongside her, she’ll reward Ryoma with 3 Ryo and 300 Virtue. This will also open up the opportunity to participate in her second quest.

After completing the previous substory, you’ll find Yae outside the Blacksmith in Like a Dragon: Ishin. She’ll explain her clients are still being targeted. Agree to help her out, and you’ll go with her to help another client and beat up some bad guys. Once again, you’ll get 3 Ryo and 300 Virtue. Once done, you can take part in the third part of this sidequest storyline.
