Elden Ring Game of the Year DICE Awards

God of War and Elden Ring Win Big at DICE Awards 2023

Elden Ring and Final Fantasy 14 won big at the 26th Annual DICE Awards. Results were announced on February 23, 2023. Elden Ring won five awards, including Technical Achievement, Role-Playing Game of the Year, Game Design, Game Direction and the overall Game of the Year award. God of War Ragnarok also did well, getting seven awards for Animation, Art Direction, Character, Music, Audio Design, Story and Adventure Game of the Year. These results are similar to the Game Awards back in December, where God of War swept most of the awards, while Elden Ring took the big award.

In addition, Final Fantasy XIV won Online Game of the Year for the Endwalker expansion.

  • Racing Game of the Year: Gran Turismo 7
  • Family Game of the Year: Mario & Rabbids: Sparks of Hope
  • Outstanding Achievement in Music Composition: God of War Ragnarok
  • Outstanding Achievement in Audio Design: God of War Ragnarok
  • Immersive Reality Technical Achievement: Red Matter 2
  • Outstanding Technical Achievement: Elden Ring
  • Online Game of the Year: Final Fantasy 14
  • Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year: Dwarf Fortress
  • Role-Playing Game of the Year: Elden Ring
  • Adventure Game of the Year: God of War Ragnarok
  • Action Game of the Year: Vampire Survivors

The DICE Awards were held in Las Vegas on February 23, 2022 and streamed live on IGN.
