6.35 Patch Notes for FFXIV Detail Loporrit Tribal Quests, Eureka Orthos

Square Enix shared the full 6.35 patch notes for FFXIV, which go over the newly introduced Loporrit Tribal Quests, Eureka Orthos quests, Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures, more Manderville Weapons, and Splendorous Tools. In addition, this marks the debut of Furnishing Design Contest 2019 additions and orchestrion rolls. Players can also collect more Triple Triad cards and face more NPCs. This also means people will be able to get the bunny ears emote after updating.

The new FFXIV Deep Dungeon Eureka Orthos quests are “Delve into Myth,” “Rage Extinguished,” and “Orthos Unveiled.” All of them involve talking to Koh Rabntah at Mor Dhona and being a Disciple of War or Magic who reached level 81. After finishing Endwalker and level 50 of Palace of the Dead, you can take “Delve into Myth” in Mor Dhona X:21.8, Y:8.1, then move on to the other quests when that’s completed and you’ve hit certain floor hallmarks in the deep dungeon.

With the Loporrit Tribal Quests in FFXIV use quest sync to match your level and often require you to stick with a class when using them. The prerequisite to start them is to finish Endwalker and “Name That Way.” Going through it will unlock “Must Be Dreaming(way).” This lets you meet Dreamingway at Old Sharlayan X:11.7, Y:10.9, so long as your Disciple of the Hand is at level 80. This unlocks five other tribal quests and tribal daily quests. You can then earn Loporrit carats for your efforts, which you can use at their tribal vendors at Mare Lamentorum at X:17.4, Y:15.8.

The FFXIV Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures, Manderville Weapons, and Splendorous Tools questlines each get two or three new quests in this patch. (Each one also requires someone to finish past quests to continue them, wen relevant.) There are two Hildibrand quests, “The Spectacle of Inspection” and “Generational Bonding,” both of which require a Disciple of War or Magic at level 90. The new Manderville Weapons ones also feature the same level requirement, and there’s “Well-oiled” and a second quest. Finally, to take part in the Splendorous Tools quests, you need to be a Disciple of the Hand or Land at level 90 who finished Endwalker, accessed the Boutique of Splendors, and can make Crystarium Deliveries. You can then take “An Original Improvement,” which leads into two additional quests.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. The patch arrived on March 7, 2023.
