Korok Seeds return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and are used to expand Link’s inventory space. If you are sick of finding items or equipment, only to leave it behind, you must learn how to spend the collectibles. Here’s where and how to use Korok Seeds to get more room.
How do I use Korok Seeds in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
You aren’t alone if you are confused about what to do with your Korok Seeds. After collecting my 20th one, I was left stumped as to where to spend them. That’s because you need to complete the “Hetsu’s Concerns” side quest in Central Hyrule to unlock the feature. Start by heading north of New Serenne Stable, and you will find the large maraca-wielding Korok huddled in fear.
Once you’ve spoken to the forest spirit, he asks you to slay some tree monsters a few feet away. Using Flower Bombs on your arrows will make quick work of them. With the foes defeated, Hetsu will offer to trade your Korok Seeds to increase your Armor, Bow, or Shield inventory space. However, the Korok will move on to a new destination after you have chosen an upgrade twice.

So where do I use Korok Seeds in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom after that?
Following your first encounter with Hetsu, he will move to Lookout Landing in Central Hyrule, specifically around the central hub. Annoyingly, he moves one final time after you have repaired the decayed Master Sword.
Once you’ve entered Hyrule Forest through the Depths and cured the Deku Tree of its sickness, Hetsu can permanently be found in the Korok Forest.

Just like in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Hetsu will charge an increased amount of Korok Seeds each time you upgrade your inventory in Tears of the Kingdom. The first upgrade will cost you one Korok Seed, it is two for the second, and so on. Players wanting to 100% the game will need an eye-popping 55 Korok Seeds if they want to maximize their slots.
