How to Get to Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom

As a seasoned The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild player, I couldn’t wait to revisit familiar locations from the game in Tears of the Kingdom. Hateno Village is one of them. Here’s how to find it again.

Where do I find Hateno Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Hateno Village is located in the Necluda region at map coordinates 3359, -2149, 0118. The easiest way that I’ve found of getting there is by going to the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower first. Once there, launch into the sky and glide southwest. You’ll see Zanmik Shrine in the distance. Hateno Village is just to the right of it. Don’t forget to break the green seal at Zanmik Shrine so you can fast travel back to the village at any time.

Alternatively, if you don’t have the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower unlocked, you can also glide northeast from the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. It takes a bit longer to reach Hateno Village from here, but it may be easier depending on which towers you’ve visited previously.

OK, I made it to Hateno Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom… What’s here?

Not only is there a wealth of side quests to be completed in the village, but it’s also home to the Kochi Dye Shop. Sayge, the owner, will dye Link’s clothing different colors and change your Paraglider Fabric for a fee. There’s also a General Store if you need to stock up on resources and an Armor Shop.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. If you’ve yet to unlock any Glider Fabrics, here’s how to do so.
