Ubisoft Reveals Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

The 2023 Summer Games Fest kicked off today with the announcement of the return of a classic series with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The game sports a new, cartoony art style, but hearkens back to the original with a side-scrolling perspective. Story-wise, it seems to follow an elite group of warriors called the Immortals as they try to rescue the captured prince of their empire. It also showcased platforming, special attacks, a bow weapon, and boss fights against a manticore and giant serpent. Time-traveling powers and the ensuing hijinx associated with them are also present.
