Beastars Appears in Maneskin Music Video for ‘TIMEZONE’

Italian rock band Maneskin featured the popular anime and manga series Beastars in the music video for its song “TIMEZONE”. The track appears on the band’s latest album, “Rush.” Specifically, the music video for the song contains famous scenes and panels from the manga series, highlighting Legoshi and Haru’s complicated relationship. The beginning of the music video includes a newly-drawn illustration created by Beastars Mangaka Paru Itagaki. It features protagonist duo Legoshi and Haru posing alongside the title of the song. Itagaki created a second illustration for the Beastars Maneskin music video as well, which includes the band members posing alongside various Beastars characters like Legoshi, Haru, Louis, and Juno.

You can take a better look at the music video for “TIMEZONE” by Maneskin below. The song is sung in English, and it includes subtitles in both English and Japanese.

As a reminder, Netflix confirmed that a third and final season of Beastars will come out sometime in 2024. The first season of the Beastars anime originally came out in October 10, 2019 on Netflix, while the second season of the series appeared on January 7, 2021. Each season has 12 episodes. The original manga series finished its run in Japan on October 2020 with a total of 22 volumes.

People can find the Beastars anime on Netflix, and Viz Media is handling the English localization of the manga.
