How do you get a fishing pole in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

You can purchase the Fishing Pole in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life within the first few days of Spring. Van will appear on the third day of Spring, and he will sell you the fishing pole for 500 Coins. Players should have the funds needed to obtain the tool immediately, and I advise you to purchase it as soon as possible.

While you cannot sell fish through the shipping container, you can easily catch them and sell them to Van for a hefty sum, should you collect enough before he makes his rounds through Forgotten Valley again. You can check when Van will set up shop at the calendar inside of your house. It will be marked with a stamp of his face. He’s usually there every 3rd and 8th.

Additionally, fish can be used to make Cooked Dishes, which can be gifted to villagers and potential romance interests. Cooked Dishes of any kind make great gifts and increase affinity with every residence of the sleepy little town. This includes Marinade, which is a recipe that can be obtained at the inn as soon as you start the game. That said, the fishing pole is one of the most vital items in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life to obtain a nice amount of Coins in the early game.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is available for the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
