Square Enix shared a sample of the Final Fantasy XVI Phoenix theme song “Away” and its lyrics ahead of the soundtrack’s debut on July 19, 2023. As a reminder, there are two versions of the Final Fantasy XVI soundtrack on the way. The base one is a seven disc set for $64.99. The Ultimate Edition is $82.99 and includes an eighth disc with additional and unused songs. Neither one includes Kenshi Yonezu’s “Tsuki Wo Miteita – Moongazing.” Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PS5. A demo is out now. There’s a six-month exclusivity period ahead of it appearing on any other platform. The Final Fantasy XVI soundtrack arrives on July 19, 2023 worldwide.
