Square Enix Shares Trivia About Turks from Crisis Core FFVII

Square Enix’s FFVII Remake Twitter account posted some trivia regarding the Turks as they appear in Crisis Core. This piece of information has to do with the difference between the Turks and the SOLDIERs. In addition, there are a few pictures of Turks members such as Reno and Rude.

According to the tweet, the Turks have a long history within Shinra. They existed ever since Shinra was a simple weapon manufacturer. By the time we see Shinra in the game proper, it’s a huge industrial enterprise and mega corporation that influences almost all aspects of the series’ world. SOLDIERs are the public face of Shinra’s security department, whereas Turks are the ace up their sleeve in private. Despite that status, Turks historically guarded Sector 8, which is where the Loveless musical usually airs.

Ever since the release of FFVII Remake, Square Enix used its Twitter account to share pieces of trivia or behind-the-scenes information on the game. For example, it shared the Remake version of Aerith’s theme, as well as discussed Rufus’s design. There was also an interview that Square Enix had with 4Gamer going into details about how it designed props for the game.

Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
