New Blue Lock: Episode Nagi Trailer and Key Visual Available

A new key visual and trailer for the Blue Lock: Episode Nagi movie is now available. The key visual shows both Reo and Nagi, who will be the main focus of the film, with auras in their eyes. The phrase in the middle is, “My life was boring until I met him,” which is how Reo and Nagi think about each other.

The trailer starts with a quick recap of Nagi and Reo while they were in the Blue Lock facility, and then a very fast montage of the show itself. It does not contain any spoilers for what happens in the anime. Finally, it ends on Reo and Nagi while they were in school together before Blue Lock.

The Episode Nagi manga not only explores Reo and Nagi’s first meeting and time at school together, but it also retells the story of Blue Lock from the two’s perspective. We get to see how they beat the various stages before they went up against Team Z. As well, Episode Nagi gives us a better idea of what was going on through their heads. Since the manga is still ongoing, it’s unclear how much of it the movie will cover.

Blue Lock: Episode Nagi will air in Spring 2024. The show is available on Crunchyroll.
