In the last chapter of the manga, we saw Satoru Gojo finally facing Ryomen Sukuna, King of Curses. Sukuna responded with Mahoraga. It seemed Gojo won.

However, chapter 236 of the manga shows Satoru Gojo at an airport, being greeted by Suguru Geto. He doubles over and lets out an exclamation after falling into a chair. He then tells Geto, “I told one of my students, didn’t I? That when it’s your time, you die alone. Please tell me this is just my imagination.” He and Geto talk about what happened and the fight with Sukuna.

It’s then that two other familiar faces show up, both looking as they did when Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and they looked as teenagers. Yu Haibara and Nanami Kento are both there, and we soon see other characters like Masamichi Yaga.

From there, it cuts to reality. Satoru Gojo is dead in chapter 236 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. He’s cut in half, with his upper half on the ground and his front still standing. Sukuna tells him, “You were magnificent, Satoru Gojo. I shall never forget you for as long as I live.”

The chapter ends with Hajime Kashimo approaching Ryomen Sukuna.

The Jujutsu Kaisen anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll, while Viz Media handles physical volumes outside Japan. The Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash video game is in development for the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
