Pokemon Paldea’s Christmas Market Merchandise Appears

The 2023 Christmas Day is still two months away, but that did not deter The Pokemon Company from starting merchandise sales. A total of 24 items are immediately available for purchase on the Japanese Pokemon Center Online site ahead of an appearance in physical Pokemon Center shops on October 28, 2023.

Some of the highlights of this collection include Kofu’s Wallet and Iron Bundle’s sweater. The wallet of Cascarrafa Gym’s leader is modeled after a Venonat, and the player can wield the item for a brief moment in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. That wallet is now also available in real life.

The sweater featuring Iron Bundle—a Paradox Pokemon distantly related to Delibird—has a reversible sequin gimmick. Its eyes can open or close by moving one’s fingers around them. The Japanese Pokemon Center X account made a post with a GIF animation that shows the sweater’s gimmick.
