The Hello Kitty plush calendar will start from January 2024 and it is fairly small. At 90 mm x 150 mm x 80 mm, it fits perfectly on a desk or a table. As for what it looks like, it’s a Hello Kitty doll holding a yellow sleeve that you can use to hold the calendar cards.

Each card has the month and dates, as well as Sanrio characters. Every month, you swap out the monthly card in the plush, and even after 2024, you can likely use the calendar to hold other pieces of paper or cards.

This is not the only piece of merchandise that Sanrio has released for the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty. In early November 2023, Sanrio revealed its special design for Hello Kitty’s birthday. Her eyes have a golden shine, representing her hopes and dreams for the future. Items that use this Hello Kitty design include a birthday doll, a pouch, and a snow globe.

The Hello Kitty 50th anniversary calendar is readily available in stores in Japan.
