Nintendo announced Super Mario 3D World for Wii U. The next Mario game is a blend of 2D and 3D like New Super Mario 3D Land and it introduces Cat Mario as a powerup. Princess Peach is playable in the game too and she has the hover ability from Super Mario Bros. 2.

 

Super Mario 3D World is slated for release this December.
