As part of a creator feature, sound director Ryoma Nakamura (Shiren series, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors) outlined one day working on Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die. Nakamura’s morning begins at 9AM when he wakes up…
9:00 AM – Wake up
9:30 – Take a bath
~ Play mobile phone games while commuting
11:00 – Arrive at work
11:30 – Check yesterday’s songs from Mr. Hoseo. The escape music is mostly OK. The event music needs some fine tuning.
12:00 – Check yesterday’s sound effects made by Takahiro Eguchi from Super Sweep. He usually creates melodious jingles with truly good tone.
13:00 – Lunch: Today’s menu – Tororo soba (buckwheat noodles w/yam) large size
14:00 – Changing K’s voice effects by trial and error, with moderation to not upset fans of Daisuke Ono.
18:00 – Read the game’s scenario. Anyway, I read it many times. Then, think about the music direction.
22:00 – Leave work, stop by an arcade
23:00 – Dinner: Today’s menu: Mongolian Tamen (Usually I eat dinner at home)
~ eat a meal while surfing the net, playing games or watching late night anime
03:00 AM – Sleep
