By A cafe where patrons sip lattes and play with their Nintendo DS? That could be a neat hangout. Maybe Nintendo is thinking of one since they filed a trademarks for DS Gamecafe in Japan.
Monster Hunter fans and other ad-hoc PSP gamers already have a hangout in Asia, it’s called McDonalds. Nintendo DS owners stop by there too, usually to collect Pokémon presents from Mac de DS spots.
Nintendo could benefit from a DS-only game cafe, though, especially if it was for Nintendo 3DS. That way people could see the glasses-free 3D effects for themselves. Also, a cafe would make the Crosspass features much more useful since people could gather in one place to trade data.
