Square Enix sent out a bunch of information about Final Fantasy XIV including new images of Eorzea.

 

This update is mostly about character customization. After picking a race and clan, newcomers can design their character’s face. Final Fantasy XIV goes a step beyond preset eyes and noses. Players can pick hairstyles, choose eye color, select a skin tone, and add tattoos and scars. Ah, scars! I wonder how many Tarutaru Lalafell Squalls and Seifers will populate the servers…
