Wii U

A Gallery Of Wii U Trademarks Filed By Nintendo

imageNintendo unveiled the Wii U and its novel tablet-meets-gamepad controller at E3. A few days before the tradeshow, Nintendo went on a trademark bonanza grabbing terms and variations of Mii U, Wii Music U, and even "Shield Pose" which was the name of one of the hands-on demos.

Nintendo has a habit of doing this after a console announcement, so these are likely protective trademarks. However, the terms Nintendo decided to protect give us a hint on what the publisher is thinking.
