A Gathering Of New Screens From The Last Story

Elza, the protagonist of The Last Story, is living a hard life as a mercenary. The story begins when he and his band of soldiers for hire head to Ruli Island in search of work. The Duke of Arganon hires Elza and his friends a job, which they view as an opportunity to move up the social ladder by becoming knights. In addition to a single player narrative, The Last Story has two multiplayer modes.

Brawl puts throws players in a battle royale where its every man or woman for themselves. It appears characters retain their levels in this mode. Notice how Yuta is level 116. Regular battles in The Last Story let players use two kinds of weapons a sword and a bowgun. Since the Elza in the screenshot is armed with his long range weapon you might be able to snipe other players in an arena.

Cooperative mode has players team up to fight a boss. The screenshot suggests players can pick characters, even the same character, for multiplayer monster hunting.

Both online modes support up to six players.
