A Glimmer Of Hope For Makai Kingdom Portable

Nippon Ichi is working on a portable version of Makai Kingdom with new missions and characters on PSP. Makai Kingdom Portable has only been announced for Japan, but NIS America isn’t ruling out a North American release.

While we were talking about Cave Story 3D and Bleach: Soul Resurrección, I asked Jack Niida, Producer, if there’s a chance we’ll see Makai Kingdom Portable released overseas.

"Yeah, there’s hope," said Niida. "It’s one of my favorites too! For the US, if we do it, even if it doesn’t come out packaged, we still have digital distribution through PSN."

Far from a confirmation, but not a flat out no either. Makai Kingdom Portable comes out in Japan on September 22.
