Gears for Breakfast released a new trailer for Gamescom 2018 that shows off the upcoming ‘Seal the Deal’ DLC, and also announces a Nintendo Switch version of the game that is ‘coming soon’.
The ‘Seal the Deal’ DLC adds a new arctic cruise world for Hat Girl to explore, and also adds a new Death Wish mode which puts Hat Girl through new high-risk-high-reward platforming and boss gauntlets.
‘Seal the Deal’ also adds six new Time Rifts to explore, new outfits and items, and also new filters and badges, like the Nostalgia Badge that replaces everything with low-poly textures. The DLC is arriving on September 13, 2018 for $4.99 USD, and is permanently free for Kickstarter backers. However, if you get the DLC on launch day on Steam, you can keep it for free.
A Hat in Time also is adding split-screen co-op to the adventure, and you can play through the entire adventure with a friend without restrictions. The update is free, and is coming on September 13, 2018.
A Hat in Time is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and is coming to Nintendo Switch soon as well. The co-op update and the ‘Seal the Deal’ DLC are coming to the PC version on September 13, 2018.
