A look at the Evangelion detective game

Broccoli has a spin off game from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series in the works called Meitantei Evangelion (Evangelion Detective). The game is an original storyline where you play as Shinji Ikari who has been recruited by NERV to investigate a series of murders. By talking with people you can pick up keywords to use in conversation to dig deeper in the mystery. It is a traditional adventure game, but there is also a mini game where you can fight with Shinji’s EVA. Fans will be happy to know that the original Japanese cast return to do voiceover work for Meitantei Evangelion.

Meitantei Evangelion is being released in two packages. A standard game alone release with a NERVE magnifying glass as a pre-order bonus.
