A Much Clearer Look At The Level 5 / Studio Ghibli Project

Famitsu has some images of Ni no Kuni: The Another World, Level 5’s project with Studio Ghibli. So far it looks endearing. The animation stills and the actual DS screenshots. The plot is about a 13 year old boy who adventures into a fantasy world to save his mother. I’m not sure what the name of the obligatory cuddly sidekick is, but I like his lantern nose. I hope he’s used as a light in the final game. Ni no Kuni: The Another World is still a long way off. It won’t arrive in Japan until 2009 and a North American release for this fantasy RPG has not been confirmed. This probably will see an international release though, the question is really who is going to pick it up.
