Square Enix are going to host a presentation this coming Tuesday, July 28th, where they’ll announce a brand new Dragon Quest title, through a livestream event. The latest issue of Jump magazine shares more details. [Thanks, Hachima.]
We still don’t know what title the presentation will be about, but many fans from Japan are expecting it to be the anticipated announcement for Dragon Quest XI. Additionally, Square Enix revealed the subtitle for Dragon Quest Heroes II as “The Twin Kings and the End of Prophecy.”
“Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the End of Prophecy takes place in a different world, where a new story will unfold,” said series creator Yuji Horii. “Please look forward to seeing how the dramatic story will unfold, too.”
He continued, “the popular action surrounding the huge monsters and waves of enemies seen in the previous title will be powered up, of course. We’re planning on adding new ways to play, so please look forward to our next announcement!”
Finally, Jump also notes for their upcoming August 3rd’s issue #36 we’ll “finally get that big title, and it can’t go missed!” Siliconera will keep you up to date when more information becomes available.
