A Platoon of 2,000 Pikachus Got Lit Up for a Special Dance Performance

The platoon of giant marching Pikachus had a special dance performance with special LEDs. [Thanks, Famitsu.] Stage technologist company mplusplus put together the technical direction for the show. They also developed the dance performance system for the  LED-equipped Pikachu performance. The “Pikachu Outbreak! 2019 in Yokohama Minato Mirai” event took place August 6 through August 12, 2019. Families gathered to watch the 2,000 dancing Pikachus take over Yokohama, Japan.
