A new listing by video game localization company G4F Localization seems to suggest that the first game in the Professor Layton series, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, will be headed to the Nintendo Switch. [Thanks, Reddit!]
The company site states that the Switch version got additional translation into French for the Switch version.
To add to this, the company was previously contracted for Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy, which launched last year. The page for this project also states that the game’s Nintendo Switch version will also be announced sometime in the future.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village was originally released for Nintendo DS, but made its way to iOS and Android as well.
