Tecmo Koei has Samurai Warriors 2 with Xtreme Legends & Empires HD Version slated for release on October 24. The PS2 game has been updated with auto saving, trophy support, cross save, and manual camera controls.

Samurai Warriors 2 with Xtreme Legends & Empires HD Version will be sold as a retail game for PlayStation 3. You can also buy a digital copy with all three games, Samurai Warriors 2 HD with Xtreme Legends or Samurai Warriors 2 HD on the PlayStation Store. The PlayStation Vita version will only be sold as a download split into Samurai Warriors 2 with Xtreme Legends HD Version (3,000 yen) or Samurai Warriors 2 Empires HD Version (2,700 yen). The Vita version supports ad-hoc connectivity for multiplayer.
