Accel World Video Game Isn’t Just Mecha Madness

Namco Bandai is making two Accel World games and Accel World: Awakening of the Silver Wings is slated for release on September 13. Accel World: Awakening of the Silver Wings has VRMMO battles where you can fight other users in a virtual reality game.

Brain Boost is one of three modes in Accel World: Awakening of the Silver Wings. There’s also a simulation part that takes place in Haruyuki’s room and a branching scenario.

Accel World: Awakening of the Silver Wings will be released on PSP and PlayStation 3. So far, the only difference announced between the versions is you get an OVA on Blu-ray with PS3 and DVD with PSP if you get Accel World at launch.
