Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim programming block released a new 2006 schedule that had a number of revisions. Home Movies was going to return to the Monday-Thursday line up at 12:30 AM, comedy was going to be the lead in to Saturday action with the Boondocks at 11 and Stroker and Hoop at 11:30.
The anime schedule was shuffled around too. Saturday nights had new Fullmetal Alchemist episodes pushed back to 12 followed by Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig at 12:30. Then reruns of Neon Genesis Evangelion at 1 and Cowboy Bebop at 1:30. On weekdays Inyuasha is removed from the schedule except for Tuesday night where new episodes premiere at 12:30 AM. Wednesday marks new Samurai Champloo episodes and Thursday brings new Neon Genesis Evangelion episodes. Monday night lacks any premieres, instead we get FLCL again. Following the new stuff are re-runs of S-Cry-Ed and Lupin the Third.
Here’s where the juicy details come in. Shortly after posting the new schedule the entire post has been removed with this:
